July 8, 2011

According to The Pulse Of Radio, an unspecified family illness has forced DEF LEPPARD to postpone a few of its joint summer dates with HEART. Pollstar.com reported that last night's (July 7) Cincinnati show at Riverbend Music Center has been rescheduled for July 27, with tickets for the postponed show being accepted that night. Live Nation has announced that the band's July 12 gig at Wantagh, New York's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and the July 13 show in Holmdel, New Jersey's PNC Bank Arts Center have also been postponed, with no new dates announced as of yet. Meanwhile, tomorrow night's (Saturday, July 9) show at Bristow, Virginia's Jiffy Lube Live will now take place on July 31.

Commented the band: "DEF LEPPARD regrets the inconvenience and looks forward to returning to Jiffy Lube Live in several weeks. Tickets purchased for the July 9 date will be honored for the new date."
